Note:-
A national level exciting trekking program comprising of adventure activities like natural rock climbing, repelling, campfire and much more. The program will start from 1st May 2011 till first week of June 2011.


Day 01:New Delhi - KALKA

Depart New Delhi for Kalka: (NDLS-KLK) by Satabdi Exp at 17:15 (TRAIN FAIR BY OWN COST)

Reporting place: New Delhi railway station.

Arrival:On arrival at Kalka at 21:20 Hrs and transfer to Tikkari

By regular mountain bus (on seat sharing basis)

ACTUAL TREK PROGRAMMME

Day 02: ARRIVE TIKKARI (BASE CAMP)

  • Arrival at base camp in the afternoon followed by allotment of accommodation.
  • We meet for lunch in the mess tent. Welcome address by the Program Director
  • Post lunch, Time at leisure.
  • Evening free for the group to stroll to Tikkari.
  • Return to Camp for evening tea.
  • Dinner
  • Campfire
  • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

Day 03: BASE CAMP - LAROT, Camp I (05 Kms)

  • Departure of group at 9:00a.m. for trek to Larot.
  • The entire group to reach camp site around 02:00 noon by lunch time
  • Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
  • Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis
  • Time free at leisure till 04:00 p.m.
  • Adventure activity: Natural rock climbing.
  • Return back to the camp by evening tea time
  • Dinner and campfire
  • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

Day 04: LAROT - MADVI THACH, Camp II (4.5 Kms)

  • Departure of group at 8:00a.m. For trek to Madvi Thach.
  • The entire would reach camp site around 12:00p.m. By lunch time.
  • Post lunch, Welcome address by the camp leader.
  • Rasna/ Lemonade to be served on the way.
  • Return back to the camp by evening tea time
  • Allotment of tents on sharing basis.
  • Dinner and campfire
  • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

Day 05: MADVI THACH - CHANSHAL TOP- LAMBA THACH Camp III (5 Kms)

  • Departure of group at 8:00a.m. For trek to Lamba Thach.
  • The entire would reach camp site around 12:00p.m. By lunch time.
  • Post lunch, Welcome address by the camp leader.
  • Interesting activity & games.
  • Rasna/ Lemonade to be served on the way.
  • Return back to the camp by evening tea time
  • Allotment of tents on sharing basis.
  • Dinner and campfire.
  • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)
    • (MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

    Day 06: LAMBA THACH- BASE CAMP, (11 Kms)

    • Early departure of group at 8:00 a.m. for base camp.
    • The entire group to reach camp site around 02:00 noon by lunch time.
    • Post lunch groups to check out of the dormitory and deposit their luggage in the cloak room
    • After hi tea, depart for Kalka
    • En route dinner and overnight bus journey.

    Day 07: KALKA - NEW DELHI

    • Arrive- Kalka early morning.
    • Board Satabdi Exp 12006 KLK- NDLS at 06:15 Hrs
    • Arrive New Delhi at 10:15 Hrs and tour terminate.
    • (MEALS & TRAIN FARE AT OWN COST)

Day 01: NEW DELHI � KALKA

Day 03:ACCLIMATIZATION DAY AT TIKKARI

  • Wake up tea at 5:30 a.m.
  • Optional morning exercise at 6:15 a.m.
  • Breakfast at 6:45a.m.
  • Group to fall in for departure at 7:30 a.m.
  • A lecture on rucksack packing Adventure Activity on - Rock Climbing & Trekking.
  • Session on issue of rucksacks & utensils to the group.
  • Lunch at 12:30 p.m
  • Post lunch group free for stroll to Tikkari.
  • Time free at leisure till 4:00 p.m.
  • Return back to the camp by evening tea time
  • Dinner and campfire
  • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

(MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

Day 04: BASE CAMP-LAROT, Camp I (05 Kms)

  • Departure of group at 9:00a.m. for trek to Shelti .
  • The entire group to reach camp site around 02:00 noon by lunch time.
  • Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
  • Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis Time free at leisure till 4:00p.m.
  • Adventure activity: Natural rock climbing.
  • Return back to the camp by evening tea time
  • Soup time followed by dinner and campfire
  • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

Day 05: LAROT - MADVI THACH, Camp II (4.5 Kms)

  • Departure of group at 9:00a.m. for trek to Madvi Thach.
  • The entire group to reach camp site around 02:00 noon by lunch time
  • Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
  • Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents
  • Time free at leisure till 4:00p.m.
  • Adventure activity: Rappelling
  • Return back to the camp by evening tea time
  • Dinner and campfire.
  • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

Day 06: MADVI THACH - CHANSHAL TOP - MADVI THACH

  • Departure of group at 8:00a.m. for Chanshal top.
  • The entire group to reach Chansal top around 12:00 noon by lunch time
  • Post lunch Intresting activity and games.
  • Return back to the camp
  • Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served.
  • Evening tea time
  • Dinner and campfire.
  • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

Day 07: MADVI THACH - LAMBA THACH, Camp III (5 Kms)

  • Departure of group at 9:00a.m. for trek to Lamba Thach.
  • The entire group to reach camp site around 02:00 noon by lunch time
  • Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
  • Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents
  • Time free at leisure till 4:00p.m.
  • Adventure activity: River crossing
  • Return back to the camp by evening tea time
  • Dinner and campfire.
  • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

(MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

Day 08: LAMBA THACH - LAROT, (6 Kms)

  • Departure of group at 8:00a.m. for trek to Larot.
  • The entire group to reach camp site latest by 12:00 p.m. by lunch time
  • Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
  • Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis
  • Time free at leisure till 4:00p.m.
  • Return back to the camp by evening tea time
  • Dinner�and campfire
  • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

Day 09: LAROT - TIKKARI, (05 Kms)

  • Departure of group at 8:00 a.m. for trek to Tikkari ( Base Camp)
  • The entire group to reach Base Camp around 3:00pm. By lunch time.
  • Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served.
  • Allotment of tents at the Base Camp for the returning group.
  • Post lunch, welcome address by Program Director and certificate giving ceremony

POST TREK PROGRAM

Day 10:TIKKARI - KALKA

  • Breakfast at 7:00 a.m.
  • Groups to check out of the dormitory and deposit their luggage in the cloak room
  • Post lunch departure of the groups.
  • Transferred to the Kalka by regular mountain buses (Overnight Journey)

MEALS: BREAKFAST AND LUNCH)

Day 11:KALKA � DELHI

  • Board Satabdi Exp 12006 KLK- NDLS at 06:15 Hrs
  • Arrive New Delhi at 10:15 Hrs and tour terminate.

(MEALS: OWN COST)

Tour Includes

  • Transfer from Kalka to Tikkari by regular mountain buses on seat sharing basis as per the itinerary.
  • Accommodation in tents on sharing basis.
  • All meals as per itinerary
  • All camping and trekking equipments.
  • Services of Guides, Instructor and camp leaders.

Tour Excludes

  • Any beverages or items of personal nature, such as laundry, telephone calls etc.
  • Train fares Satabdi Exp from NDLS-KLK & KLK-NDLS
  • Any increase in Train Fares.
  • Travel insurance
  • Government Service Tax (2.575%).
  • Anything not specially mentioned in the itinerary above.

Important

  • The above is the tentative program and can be amend/changed as per the convenience. Expenses incurred during landslides, road blocks etc. are not included in the above cost.

Cancellation

  • In case of cancellation, the fee will be deducted as per the following conditions strictly. No refund will be entertained without submitting a request cancellation letter effective from the day we receive the letter.
  • Notice of less than 30 days - Half fee will be refunded
  • Notice of less than 15 days - No refund
  • Also no refund will be entertained to participants who are unable to complete the trek or abandon it due to any reasons.

Terms & Conditions

  • 78mmadventures.com reserves the rights to increase the package price, change the number of days, if the situation so desires due to unforeseen reasons and such decisions will be implied and accepted by all.
  • 78mmadventures.com reserves the right to reject any application.
  • 100% advance is required for confirmation.
  • The package price does not includes any kind of personal expenditures like, telephone calls, laundry, tips, personal sightseeing, personal porters or ponies or any such expenses which may arise due to abnormal situations like road blocks, landslides, etc.
  • Any increase in Government taxes, any hikes in diesel prices after January 2011 will be charged extra.
  • Meals are excluded during bus Journey.
  • Participants below 12 years of age should be accompanied by their guardians.
  • 78mm Adventures or its any staff member is not responsible in any way in case of any injury, illness or accident.
  • All disputes subject to Delhi Jurisdiction only.
