This time we came up with Alternative Tourism. To let you know what Alternative Tourism is and how it is different from other tourism’s.

With the changing in time, the taste for tourism is also changing. Today, people love to visit different and untouched places in all over the world. Alternative Tourism can be considered as the latest discovered limb of tourism as earlier people were completely do not know about the unconventional places. But thanks to Internet, which has been proved a great helper to find the less known places and made these places the first choice of the enthusiasts for Alternative Tourism.

It’s an ordinary thinking that Alternative Tourism is nothing more than doing some adventure sports but actually it’s a far bigger concept to understand. Natural, Cultural, Events, etc. tourism are some integral parts of Alternative Tourism. The Natural tourism is that, which let you enjoy the nature at its best as well as teach you to preserve our environment. • Khiching:  A heritage site in eastern Indian state of Orissa. The place is located in the Karanjia sub-division, 150 km from Baripada and 320 kilometers from Bhubaneswar. One can taste wide-ranging cultural influences here.

• Hatkoti: A mysterious valley of stones, situated near Shimla, around 105 kilometers in east, on the banks of the river Pabar. Enthusiasts can enjoy sounds of bells and cymbals and khartals in the temples while the festivals of Chaitra Navratra (April) and the Asvin Navratra (October).

• Aihole: A place in Northern Karnataka where invaders, conquerors and dynasties have come and gone and left their imprint on the land and their cultural practices. Aihole is a magnificent part of Indian heritage, which let you indulge in medieval Indian art and architecture.

• Hogenakkal: Tamil Nadu’s one of the amazing and beautiful waterfalls. One can enjoy the natural, traditional river spa at Hogenakkal.

• Dungarpur: A small city of western Indian state Rajasthan. If you     love exploring temples, palaces then Dungarpur would be the perfect place. ‘Dungar’ means a hill or a mountain and ‘pur’ means a town, hence Dungarpur means a ‘hill-town’.

• Tipi: Asia’s third largest orchidarium has been set up in Tipi. A place near by Guhawati. Orchidarium is a chamber with all ideal conditions for growth and flowering of Orchids and other flowers.

• Dodital: A place in Uttarkashi, district of Garhwal division with high mountains and snow-covered peaks. Dodital is all set with its scenic beauty and refreshment to take you in an exotic world.

• Unakoti: This place has hundreds of massive rock-cut sculptures made out of sandstone. Unakoti is 8 km away from Kailasahwar town. One can found various sculptures including 33-ft-high bust of Lord Shiva, massive Ganesh figure, Vishnu, Nandi, Narasimha, Ravana, Hanuman, and several unknown divinities. All these sculptures indicate that they were modeled between 12^th to 16^th centuries.
