Hey, I was wondering, what is the best way to explore a place or region? Some of my friends said, we take a flight and spend some days to explore the place. angry.gif Some said, we love to travel by train which gives us a better insight of the place. Quite true dry.gif , in this world in which time is at a premium, nobody would like to waste their time in transit. I guess my line of thinking is with the old school of travelers who love to explore any place by road. I am a complete road junkie cool.gif , if I can help it, my first choice of travel would be by road. But, before I continue, I would like to say “whatever the mode of journey, travel one must”.

It was happiness personified for me when I learnt that 3 of my friends had agreed to accompany me on my this trip rolleyes.gif . Over the last couple of years I had made numerous attempts to plan this trip but without success. I was thrilled to know that things were following in place and I would be able to realize my dream. I had heard a lot about
Bhimakali Temple ,Kullu/ Manali , naggar
from my mum and my maternal uncle and aunt. They had all visited the region in the early 1970 and it was my dream to follow in their foot steps. biggrin.gif

So looking forward for this expedition. Thats why I m proud to be associated with www.78mmadventures.com smile.gif

Hi Josh!!!

I understand your problem ... bringing your bike all the way to Manali will not be tht great an experience. My suggestion will be to reach Delhi or directly to Manali by Air / Rail / Road ...which ever is feasible ...and we'll arrange a bike from thr. That is how even I'll be doing, we have arranged for bullets from Manali. Bikes are in good condition...

After the trip ...we'll take a drop till Chandigarh ...and back to Delhi

Some of our members are coming from B'lore/Chennai ...and tht region ... once the registration process is done ...you guys can coordinate accordingly to reach Delhi...

I hope this will solve ur problem .... for further queries ...you can give us a call at 9971009478/ 9971121278

Dude ... believe me ..we are going to RIDE HARD ... welcome to 78mm and stay HiGH on LiFE!!!

This rollercoaster of a 10 day break that just opened a few new dimensions to our mind's own eyes… has now became an inseparable part of our memories. We challenged our physical strength with will, hope and invincibility … only to bring the best out of ourselves.

Neither planning nor execution was flawless, there were problems …there were differences …not all was planned … nothing was routine …we followed our impulse and we faced the implications as a team.

I sincerely thank all the participants for trusting 78mm for 10 days of their life. I hope we did justice to your belief.
Proudly sharing snapshots from the road trip to The FORBIDDEN LAND

specially for those who could have made it to the trip, since all we have is a deeply etched memory of the actual experience, that is way beyond a single sensory thrill. Just what we have to make do with now are a few select photographs of the 10 days across the forbidden lands by an amateur photographer.... yours truly.
